Awesome little burger and hot dog stand. Great selection of both dogs and burgers. I try to get something different everything I visit and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and I would recommend the sweet potato fries to pair up with your burger or dog. Must visit when in the area!!!

It's such a good place to get a Chicago-style hot dog or a delightful smash burger. Got the combo that comes with fries and a drink. You pull into the parking spot, and someone comes up to you to get your order, or you can go up to the window. Made fresh to order. Can have the option of regular fries or sweet potato!!

When we got there, the burger was incredibly juicy and tasty—it really hit the spot! The customer service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. I also got the French fries with sauce and caramelized onions on top, and they were absolutely amazing. I had been craving these for a while, so I drove up just to get them, and it was totally worth the trip. Very, very delicious!

Have been driving by this place since it was the Scotty Dog and regret not going back then. Am always a sucker for animal mascot themed places Anywho, the box combo from here was quick and hit the spot. On a very hungry day I could eat it by myself but it fed 2 people this time. Very good quality burgers will be trying this again soon.

Five stars (for what it is): a fantastic drive in, walk up, eat in the rough kinda place. I had the Windy City dog, a Coney dog, and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were an amazing surprise. I usually only get them because someone else wants them, but I rolled the dice and I’m glad I did… I’ll actually come back here just to consume some more! I ate the Windy City first, which was a safety maneuver because it was my first time and I usually love Coneys. In hindsight I should’ve had the Coney and its muted flavors first, since the Windy City had a wickedly delicious ka-pow of dramatic flavor to tickle the tastebuds. (It might not be your cup of tea, but it’s worth trying!) The staff was very friendly, and I think they even have a staffer working as a ‘hop’ so you don’t event need to get outta the car. The place is what it is, a dog stand with picnic tables on the side of the road, but it’s tremendously fabulous.

I love the Salty Seagull because the food is so good! Juicy burgers, crispy fries, and so many different varieties available! Hot dogs with or without skin, infinite variety of toppings and sauces.... all served with a smile! You can order online, find a parking space, and they'll bring it to your car! Or order at the window and they'll bring to your car. Prices are really decent too.

The Salty Seagull, continues and honors the legacy of the Scotty Dog with bringing a taste of Chicago to New England. Bringing with the new stand it also has added Lobster Rolls and smash burgers. The Chicago Dogs are still authentic Vienna Beef products with great quality fresh produce. Open year round now, still has car hop service and picnic tables for those who will brave the winter cold.

Hands down the best lobster in New England! This little food stand is an absolute gem. The lobster was perfectly fresh, sweet, and cooked just right — you can tell they really know what they’re doing. The rolls were buttery and packed full of meat, no skimping here! The service was fast and friendly, and everyone working there seemed happy to be serving great food. It was super easy to find, with plenty of parking and a laid-back, coastal vibe that made the whole experience even better. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop here — you won’t regret it. Fresh lobster, great people, and that classic New England charm all in one spot. We ate TONS of lobster during our week exploring the coast from Boston to Acadia…this was BY FAR HANDS DOWN the best. Great price as well. Others on our family had smash burgers that were also really amazing.
